Overview

I have been fascinated how much the fundamental principles governing the emergence of collective behaviour in physical and biological systems can be applied to understand the dynamics of social and economic systems. Social and economic forces shape our collective behaviour and the emergence of social norms, cooperation, polarization and technological sophistication.

Using tools from Statistical Physics, Network Science and Agent-Based Modelling, I have been exploring how the interplay of network structure, heterogeneity and higher-order interactions can give rise to the emergent collective behaviour in social and economic ystems.
